FIT TO FLY / FIT TO TRAVEL COVID TEST
Are you travelling abroad and require proof that you are fit to fly? Some countries are now requiring a negative Covid-19 swab test and certificate to show that you are not currently infected with the virus. WeCare Health can test you for Covid-19 for anyone in Canterbury and issue a certificate in time for your flight to ensure that you arrive smoothly at your destination.
Please fill out our online questionnaire and our team will be in touch on the same-day to book for testing at our WeCare Wigram site (see location). Cost for this is $182 dollars. Some destination requires both a swab and a IgM antibody test, cost for this is $290, and can be paid online using our Secure STRIPE payment system.

WHAT TO KNOW ABOUT COVID-19
Novel Coronavirus causes respiratory illness and is spreading rapidly around the world. Symptoms include fever, temporary loss of smell, cough, sore throat, and shortness of breaths. While many can remain asymptomatic or experience only mild symptoms, some can develop serious complications such as pneumonia, which can be life threatening. Many of the people who experience serious complications are older or have high risk comorbidities, such as diabetes, heart disease and lung disease. See Vulnerable People.
When should I take my test to ensure I receive my certificate within my required time frame?
Please let us know around 5 days prior to your departure. At present, some airlines and destinations require testing and certificates to be issued within 48-96 hours of departure. Testing all passengers prior to flying helps to reduce Covid-19 transmission during flight. Please allow up to 24 hours to have the Swab performed and another 48 hours for the results to come back.
