Catherine grew up in Ōtautahi, Christchurch and after several years away, returned to raise her own family here.
Catherine completed a Bachelor of Science degree at Otago University, Dunedin, then went on to study Medicine, graduating in 2006. She has worked in Melbourne, rural Victoria and Christchurch, doing a variety of hospital works before completing the postgraduate training in General practice in 2010.
Catherine enjoys General Practice for the holistic approach it offers and the chance to work alongside patients and their families over time. She has completed additional training in Womens Health, Motivational Interviewing and Cross-Cultural communication.
Aside from working at WeCare Health, Catherine enjoys time with her husband and three small children, and living in our ever-evolving and interesting post-quake city.
