About the Emergency Contraceptive Pill
If you've had unprotected sex or your contraception has failed (e.g., a broken condom or missed pill), you may be able to take the emergency contraceptive pill (also known as the morning-after pill or ECP) if you do not wish to become pregnant.
The ECP is most effective when taken as soon as possible and can be taken up to 72 hours (3 days) after having unprotected sex. It does not protect against sexually transmitted infections (STIs).
Who can we treat?
We can treat people aged 14 and over who have had unprotected sex in the past 72 hours and are at risk of an unwanted pregnancy.

Our team will assess your needs and provide treatment, advice, and follow-up information.
